feature request: display length of tracks

Such a pitty that it is not possible to show the length of tracks in the list ot tracks (as was possible in MapSource).
Besides, while drawing a new track it would be very convenient to have the length displayed in the status bar.
Now I always have to work around with a doubleclick on the track to display the track properties.

Go to View menu -> Swap map and data views. Then above the list of waypoints/routes/tracks, click the button for show tracks. Then you will have a list of tracks, with the length of each.

Now I like working with Basecamp better than Mapsource.
This flexible and adjustible data view was what I have been looking for.
