Transfer basecamp saved GPX route map to garmin 2595?

I have Google route maps converted in Basecamp and have sent the files to my garmin 2595. However, only the start and end point transfer from the map, not the specific route that has been saved, like this one, http://is.gd/3cTdEl , or nothing transfers at all.

Is there another way to create specific routes on Google, mapquest or another map program and upload the GPX file to the Garmin 2595? My friend has a Garmin 1450 and he's able to transfer google route maps like the one above into his GPS.

Should work. Are you following the steps in Garmin's FAQ:

To access a transferred route in a zumo 350, dezl series, LIVE series, or nuvi 2400, 2405, 2505, 3400, 3500, or 3700 series device:

1.Touch Apps
2.Touch Trip Planner
3.Allow time for the device to automatically import the trip/route
These Trip Planner devices will take several minutes to automatically import trips into the Trip Planner. The import will automatically begin, but no message will appear on the device indicating that the import is happening. Once the import is complete, all transferred routes will be displayed under a category called Unscheduled Trips in the Trip Planner.1 Until the trips show up in Trip Planner, please do not turn off the device or connect it to a computer.

*Please note: When routes are imported to your Garmin device, the route may change due to navigation settings within your device.

1 Units that create routes using Trip Planner cannot send routes to MapSource or BaseCamp. However, units that utilize Trip Planner will be able to receive routes from BaseCamp and MapSource

Thank you for your reply. I believe I've followed the steps, but maybe I disconnected the GPS from the computer before the transfer was completed. I'll give it another try tonight.

Hi. I've copied a gpx file from TyreToTravel to my nuvi2595, but its not appearing in Favourites. I must be missing something but what?

This had nothing to do with Garmin Custom Maps, so I have moved it to a more appropriate place.

Read the post a couple above yours ... If you send a route it should appear in unscheduled trips.
