obviously there is no functionality in Basecamp to extend routes. I know there are workarounds but I have very hard times using them. I'm not the only one who has problems with this and this issue is known since at least two years. So I'd like to ask the developers: If you have some budget for new features I would really appreciate if you could fix this soon :)
There is another thing that would ease creating routes a lot: I wish the pan tool could be activated temporarely by pressing (and keeping pressed) a key (like CRTL or middle mouse button). I know there is the overview map to move on the map - but somehow I just don't get used to it.
