Try reading some of the other posts in this forum.
Specifically, those titled exactly as yours is.
I used the advanced search tool but it did not return any results. It would have been more helpful to actually give me the advice I needed and then if you thought it necessary made a comment that I could have found it by trawling through all the posts.
Try using <Control+F>. It will bring out the "Find". Let the frustration ensue!
Thank you so much Biglew55. I don't know why some people try to use knowledge like power to hit others over the head with. I am new to my Garmin and have been struggling with Basecamp for several days. I just spent an hour trying to find my Find toolbar to get an address to mark as the starting waypoint in my route. The first answer about trawling through the posts really po'd me. Your answer was short and sweet. I am now on my way. Thanks to folks like you, and NO thanks to BABJ615, Base Camp is a tough row when you are new at it.
