I have drug and dropped routes and tracks from My Collection to Edge 800 Memory Card/User Data in Base Camp. I can see the data in the User Data section of the Base Camp screens. When I power on the Edge 800 the data is not available in Courses. I have looked through the files via Windows Explorer, the files are located in a file called gpx on the SD Card. Also, other courses that are stored in the Courses folders on both the Internal Storage and SD card do not populate in Base Camp. I hate to export the route/track and copy and paste viw Windows Explorer but that is my current work around.
