Map Install Troubleshooting

Hi all,

I've downloaded new topo and trail maps and am trying to install them on my Etrex 20 (running Windows 7). I have the most current versions of the Basecamp program and the GPS's software. However . . . when I click Maps > Install Maps on Etrex 20, nothing happens. It doesn't open the dialogue to install the maps.

Does anyone know why this is not working, and what I can do to resolve it?

Assuming the maps show up in Basecamp ... ??

Run Basecamp and connect your Etrex. Right click the Etrex All Data folder and select 'Install maps' ... does that work?

If they don't show in Basecamp you can't install them from there. If they are just .img files copy them into the Garmin folder on your Etrex using Windows Explorer

Much information on exactly what should happen right here. Exactly which part of the process is not working properly?
