Can't See United States Topo Maps

I have just started using Basecamp. My automotive maps show up fine, but I can't access my MapSource United States Topo maps (on three CD's). Is there some way that I can get Basecamp to access these topos?

If you never installed your Topo USA CD's to your hard drive, this post (#6531) may help as well.

I already had the Mapsource map images on my HDD, and Basecamp saw them right away, even after the update that caused other people problems.

Exactly. As Falagar said the maps will not work in BaseCamp from CD.

The suggestions provided on this link worked perfectly. I can now successfully use my MapSource United States Topo maps from the 3 CD set (version 3.02) on Basecamp. Even better, I no longer need to insert a CD everytime I want to use the topo maps. Thanks very much to STUARTMW for the solution.
