My 1490T suddenly started behaving oddly: I would select a route, and as soon as I clicked 'Show Map', the screen would split with a vertical line and the unit would lock up. I decided to delete all data from the 1490T and to reload it from Basecamp. The routes have loaded OK, but the favourites have loaded in a rather messy way - in a folder labelled import dated ##### (or similar). The process of exporting routes from Basecamp and then importing them on the 1490T seems straightforward - but there does not seem to be an equivalent for exporting Favourites. What is the 'correct' way of doing this.
Also, has anyone got any comment on the problem of the screen splitting vertically? This HAS happened before, but on that occasion deleting all data and reentering seemed to fix things.
