Bug? changing profile from 'direct' to 'walking' mass up the route

Some additional information. When I change the map to the 'Global Map' then Basecamp is sending me to the highway which is the only way in the neighboorhood (it is also misplaced). I have the Recreational Map Europe v3, got with my Garmin 62st. It seems not to use the streetinformation.

The Recreational Map Europe is not routable. What happens is that BaseCamp uses the Global Map instead when you switch over from a non-routing profile to a routing profile. Because the Global Map contains very few roads, you get this strange effect. Solution: don't use any other profile than 'Direct' (other profiles are no use to you as you don't have a routable map)
Another solution: you could install a routable map like the free Openfietsmap; it's a very good, detailed map (at least when you live in The Netherlands).

As for the Global Map: the highway is not really misplaced, it's just that the resolution is very low.

(there is a minor bug in BaseCamp though; it shouldn't use any map other than the active one for routing...)
