BaseCamp does not See/Read the Forerunner

I have tried some Forerunners models like the 410 and 910XT, but BaseCamp 4.0.5 Windows does not recognizes the attached Forerunner on my computer.

By playing around I know that the Mac version of BaseCamp read Forerunner and history content from the Forerunner, but BaseCamp for Windows seems to ignore the attached Forerunner (using ANT stick).

same problem here, i watch on youtube that the mac version is capable to connect to a forerunner... why windows version not??

Any progress here ? BaseCamp still not showing my forerunner (405 or 610)... lucky I didn't delete mapsource which works perfectly with both ;)

btw, going back to mapsource to download routes from my watch reminds me how easy and fast it was... :mad:

If BaseCamp Windows is not compatible with Forerunner 410 can you let us know?

basecamp on mac not recognize forerunner too

just to mention that the problem also exist on my Mac. Even after re-install basecamp it is not possible to see my forerunner from basecamp whereas I don't have any problem using garmin express & garmin connect.

I would contact product support regarding this issue.

BaseCamp is not able to communicate directly with the ANT enabled fitness devices. It communicates with USB devices and is generally not focused on the fitness devices. Perhaps the Forerunner mention in the post from 2013 was a 205 or 305 which are USB Garmin mode devices and communicated with Training Center. BaseCamp is capable of Importing activity files created by fitness devices such as .TCX and .FIT files.

Files can be exported from Training Center then imported or for current fitness devices file can be imported from the location in the FAQ: Where are my activity files stored after ANT+ transfer to Garmin Connect?
