BaseCamp won't show City Navigator Maps installed on my 60CSx

I recently installed City Navigator NT on my 60CSx and, although BaseCamp can "see" the device, it only sees the "global map" and not the City Navigator Map. Any ideas?

Are you using a pre-programmed card or get CN as a download? If not the above applies.

Is there any way I can use BaseCamp with this software or does Garmin have a similar utility that gets around this problem?

Well if you got the maps on DVD you already have them on your PC. There's no need to try and use the ones loaded to your 60CSx.

Again, how did you get the maps? DVD? Download? Pre-programmed card?

Note: because it is a 60CSx device I couldn't download it directly to the device but instead had to download it to the micro SD card which I had stuck into my desktop - I then transfered the card to the 60CSx ---- don't know if this would make a difference or not.

Well in theory Basecamp should show it but you might need to put your 60CSx into USB mass-storage mode first.

BC is in the process of loading the map data - looks like its going to take awhile

Thanks! CN loaded and is running (albeit a little slow) - I seem to be able to create routes but I'm not sure yet about saving them (can I do that while in mass-storage mode?) --- I'll play with it awhile and see how it works out.

Well the 60CSx (I have it's brother a 76CSx) is an older model so you can't transfer anything (other than maps) in mass-storage mode. You have to be in normal mode to transfer routes/tracks/waypoints but then you can't see the maps.
