Drag to modify a route. ?????

One of the features I LIKE on MapSource is the ability to make minor changes to a route by highlighting the route and dragging the route to a different road. This automatically places a new route "way point" on the new route. I have been unable to do this with BC. Is it doable? . . .:confused: . . :confused:

Select the route then use the 'insert tool' to add new points to the route :)

Yes, I know how to insert a new waypoint to a route.

However, I wanted to DRAG and drop the route on a different road. . . . :confused:

Well you do that by using the insert tool to drop a waypoint where you want the route. Without a waypoint the route won't go that way :)

You can drag the route with the insert tool in the same way that you use the pointer tool in Mapsource. It inserts via points, but not with quite the same ease as Mapsource, as via points on intersections are not indicated by a change in the pointer. You have to zoom in to make sure that the via point is on the intersection.

Thanks, not as simple as MS but it works.
