In addition to the automatic 'join' facility, I would like to have the ability to make the join between two defined points on the respective tracks, as is in Mapsource.
The automatic facility often joins the loose ends of the joined track. There are many circumstances in which tracks become segmented in the device and the end and start times/positions being relatively widely spaced. Separating the loose ends is a fiddle and uses time that could otherwise be better spent.
