Search Function Request

I have a future feature request for Basecamp. I was pleased to see the right click search option added to the latest version. However, when used it lists all the categories. I would like to see the option modified to allow for searching different categories near the cursor as Mapsource has had for years. The search function as is makes searches way more difficult than necessary.

On another note, how does one delete a post? I see no delete option.

We'll definitely plan on further improving the find functionality. We'll keep your suggestion in mind.

You cannot delete posts. If you'd like a moderator to delete a post, report it and request deletion.

The current Find Tool is much too cumbersome to use with the mouse and it is very, very poor at searching, particulalry for addresses. Even putting the city name in the "Near" box still does not find an address in that city.

Please can you implement the search facility from MapSource into BaseCamp. The current facility really does let the current product down.

Thank you. I often need to search for lodging in certain locations while planning a route. The function in MS works very well for me. BC however lists all points of interest near the center of the map. It would be much more helpful to have the search concentrate at the location of the cursor as MS and also give the option of choosing the catagory you need similiar to the feature in mapsource.
