I bought BirdsEye Satellite Imagery for my Montana™ 650t and I download only ONE MAP and cannot download anymore.

I check my account and the product is ready to use.

I appreciate if someone can help me

    error message?
    if yes ... what message?
I had problems here with oregon .... an SD card solved the problem
  • When I bought my Montana 650t earlier this year I could download one only BirdsEye Imagery. I think it was an introductory offer to wet my appetite for more. A few days ago I bought a BirdsEye subsription and subsequently tied that to my Montana. Those are two different steps. From BaseCamp I have downloaded more BirdsEye maps. That required the Montana to be connected to BaseCamp. I did not initially send the image to the Montana but have done that afterwards. While doing that BaseCamp made an online check for a valid subscription. I now have multiple BirdsEye maps loaded on the SD-card in the Montana. It works quite flawless for me.

PESCAMAZON, did you buy a separate subscription for the Montana, or was it for the Oregon? You need one subscription per GPS.
DIAZP1, did you perform the step where you tied your purchased subscription to your Montana?

the subscription was to Oregon ... I feel cheated ... I do not have the oregon - sold .... I can not download images (oregon not online "basecamp") ... I will not make another subscription, this is absurd, I will write to the Garmin, so they solve the problem.
  • Sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience. As a general rule as soon as you no longer own a Garmin device you should delete its registration from your Garmin account. That is also required for the new owner to be able to register the device on his account. Deleting your Oregon registration would have prevented this misunderstanding. See if Garmin can help you out. Otherwise buying a new one-year subscription for your Montana can give you a lot of fun for a relatively small amount of money.
