Hi guys,
I'm trying to get the geotagging feature to more accurately post my photos on my track within basecamp. I have checked the time/date on my camera and my Oregon 300 and both are dead on.
My problem is that some of the photos of the same place are placed at points that aren't accurate. For example, I recently visited a memorial. Took about a dozen pictures. I geotagged them and the pictures were posted linearly along my track, at varying distances, rather than all together.
I was checking my track settings. I have the following:
Track Log
Record, Show On Map
Record Method
Auto
Interval
Normal
Is there a better settings configuration that would give my photos more accuracy geographically when I geotag them?
