How to hide routes

Having a long weekend, I've been teaching myself how to use Basecamp and I've come across a issue that I haven't found a solution for.

I've been making sample routes...Some are short, local routes that I plan on loading to my Nuvi and following to see if I've done everything correctly. Some are longer...duplicating long trips that I've already mapped on paper. All this just to test my progress as I desperately claw my way up the steep learning curve.

My current question is: On the map, all the routes I've made are visible all the time. I can change the colors to differentiate them, I know, but it's soon going to look very cluttered.

How can I keep a route, but hide it from view until I want to see it again?

Create a list for each route and send that route to that list. The list acts as a filter and only displays the list contents when the list is selected. You can also group similar lists into folders to…

Thank you! That did the trick.

After I started organizing my routes into lists, I later found the info in one of video tutorials, but I guess I was too fuzzy-eyed to know what I was searching for at the time.
