Can't delete waypoints

Hello everyone,
I loaded a route in Basecamp that is now deleted. The problem is that the waypoints are still displayed on the map without being listed in "My Collection".
If I try to select one of them, the only option I have is "Create waypoint". I also tried to delete ALL the data in "My Collection" but the waypoints remain which should mean they are not included in any routes (anyway I have no route stored neither locally nor on the device).
Is there a way to delete these waypoints ?

If afraid that is a bug. If you have nothing in your collection, you could just blow away the database and start over.

For me, the database is at C:\Users\{Username}\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\BaseCamp\Database\4.0, that is on Windows 7. Vista should be similar, in XP the path is a bit different, let me know if you run XP and need help finding it.

Thanks for the hint !
What I've done is first, export all the data from "My Collection" then delete AllData.* and FolderData.* (maybe only one of these files had to be deleted ?) in the folder "4.0" and finally import the data back in Basecamp.
Waypoints disappeared as you've expected !
