1. The datafile uploaded to Basecamp 4.0.1 just fine, but after deleting duplicate waypoints and changing all of the icons I was unable to send the file back to the device (Device tab/send {filename} to Device), producing "an error occurred while sending the following file: gpx/temp.gpx" message. Addressing the device from "My Computer" and manually deleting the temp file already in the GPX folder and going back to Basecamp and resending enabled the file to transfer, but:
2. Transfering the file simply added a separate "favorites" category bearing the name (date/time) of the downloaded datafile, thus duplicating the waypoints already present in "all Favorites" when the data was uploaded. Moreover,
3. All waypoints bore the blue flag icon rather than the icons which I had selected in Basecamp.
Question: Is this the way Basecamp is designed to operate or am I doing something incorrectly in my effort to manipulate, organize and categorize all of my routes and waypoints in Basecamp and download the finished product to replace the disorganized data in the device (without duplication).
