How to export GPX track with waypoints?!

Hi,

last weekend I made a track of 30 km and made 22 waypoints and the problem is that if I export this track as a GPX file from BaseCamp and load it to some other softs or Google maps for example it only shows track without waypoints.

So I'm curious if there is a way to export a track together with certain way points? For example I want to export mentioned track together with 10 of 22 waypoints that I marked during the hiking?

Thanks in advance,
Teo

If you had made it as a route with the waypoints incorporated into the route then they would all stay together.

Otherwise, you would create a list, then send the track and the waypoints to that list using the "Send To.." command. When you export that list to a GPX file, it will contain the track and all the waypoints.

Oh I C, will try to create list and add waypoints and track to it, it sounds as best possible solution, thanks for the tip, really appreciate it ;)

OK I tried and it works but the problem is that I have more than 500 waypoints on my device and I would like to know if there is a way to filter the waypoints and show only those that are recorded on certain track or at least sort it by date? Currently they are sorted by name and it is quite hard to find those then that I need to add to track?
  • If you have your 500 waypoints shown in the right hand data pane in BC you have several options for sorting. You can sort e.g. by date created, data modified, or by position (coordinates). If you select waypoints only in the top bar several columns will appear. If you click on a column heading waypoints will be sorted based on that column. That should allow you to pick the waypints of interest.

10Q MXCHNEY, will try that afternoon, previously I tried to sort it in the left pane and the only option is sorting by name...
  • Your waypoints will show on the map, so the simplest way is to select them using the 'select tool' (looks like an arrow and is in the toolbar). You can use that to select individual waypoints, or multiple ones (using shift and control just like in Windows) or click and hold then drag which will create a rectangle and select all points within that rectangle.

Once selected right click on one of the highlighted ones in the left hand pane and select 'Send to' :)
