Properties page for Routes

I have started using Base Camp v4.0.1 after trying 3,3,1. It's not letting me get to the properties page for any route unless the route is highlited. Problem is: to highlite the route requires me to select the <select> tool then click on the route in the map, then double left click on the mouse to get to the properties. By right clicking on the route in the Library I think I should also be able to select an option to display the route properties.

Next, the ability to drag and drop changes to an existing route, as in Mapsource, is missing from this application. Editing/Changing a route now requires the generation of a new waypoint, then inserting it in the route properties, then recalculating - not good.

Are these changes on the drawing boards? I surely hope so.

Double click on the route in the library to get the properties window.

You can use the Insert tool (looks like a pencil with a + sign) to 'rubber band' the route to insert via points, in a similar way to using the select tool in Mapsource.

Different method - same functionality.

By right clicking on the route in the Library I think I should also be able to select an option to display the route properties.

You can...it's now called "Open". Previous versions called it "Properties".
