Hi there
first time on the forum after loading basecamp on windows xp I cannot get it to connect to my iphone 4s via usb (also bluetooth did not work either). it says there are no devices connected to basecamp. I treid renstalling, connecting and re3connecting my iphone and restarting the computer but to no avail
, I have garmin fit also on the iphone. I have also treid the garmin usb files and the communicator software without any luck
can anyone make some suggestions
thanks
leon
  • As far as I know Garmin Base camp does not support the iPhone4(s). The activities u recorded with the Garmin Fit app are uploaded to your Garmin Connect account. From there (Garmin Connect) u can export them to a SD card (Make a folder called Garmin on there). If u export them as a .GPX file, base camp will read them.

thanks for that, i went to Garmin connect and though it took a while connect was able to download from the iPhone. i could get all the files from the iphone into connect.
However i don't seem to be able to go the other way for example uploading a route to the iphone from connect. it gives me the message that there is no device connected, even though the iphone is connected through a usb port and Garmin fit open.
    any suggestions welcome
