Feature Request: Sorting tracks by start date/time

I have a request. Is it possible to have the tracks sorted by starting date / time when the list is in the left hand side column?

It is rather awkward to have to use the main screen to sort tracks which span months.

An alternative would be to have the title of the track listed in the following manner - Year month day. This way it would automatically sort correctly.

This is on our list of possible future improvements.

For now, you'll have to use data view and filter by tracks.

Still not happening in the Basecamp menu on the left. 2020-02-9 (year-mo-day) is being sorted at the end of all days later than the 9th. The 10th onward are in order (ascending).

Falagar is long gone, along with the rest of the BaseCamp development team. All that Garmin do now is fix any critical issues I'm afraid.

The format for a text date needs to be yyyy-mm-dd to sort properly. So the name 2020-02-9 needs to be changed to 2020-02-09. As mentioned above, you can click on the tab halfway up the map pane to switch to the data view. Select tracks and then sort by date.
