Please can someone help. I am trying to create a new route and the various help sites on the internet show that a new route dialogue box should open on Basecamp which allows me to enter the start and finish points. I do not have this wizard dialogue box pop up - I am using a Montana 650.
Same problem here. Removed and reinstalled BaseCamp beta. No help. Deleted all user data, removed and reinstalled again. Dialogue box still lost. Can't get it back. Fortunately it is easy to start route creation by clicking any waypoint or two waypoints in a list and clicking "Create Route using Selected Waypoints". Same effect as dialogue box.
You should be able to get the dialog box back by using the Utilities/Option/General window and clicking on Reset Options. Unfortunately, it will set all your options so you may have to put your menu bar, etc. back to what you want. I assume there is a registry value for the route dialog box but I haven't really looked for it.
Since this seems to have been an issue in the past, perhaps Garmin can add a simple way to the the dialog back without loosing all other option settings.
