Feature request : ability to add/edit elevation data of a trackpoint (may as well make all non-calculated fields editable). None of the maps I use have DEM data.

I see that creating a route from a track (V3.3.3) strips out the elevation data - it may be useful to allow user input to control this (ie choose to strip out or to leave elevation data in).

It may be useful to provide a button/control to strip out elevation data from a track and/or route (to facilitate it's use with a DEM-enabled map)

I was hoping one of the moderators could advise on whether or not editable point data fields was a possibility.

In addition to editable data fields, could I also suggest adding the ability to hide/unhide individual/all waypoints, tracks, routes? (on each object’s property page, there could be a HIDE checkbox - in the View menu, there could be options to hide/unhide all waypoints, all tracks, all routes)

Because waypoints/tracks/routes overlay the map, they obscure the map image underneath – on occasions, it’s valuable to be able to toggle the visibility of these data types.

BTW, the ‘transparent’ setting for track/route colour is not transparent – it’s a thin black line with a white border that obscures just as much of the map as any other colour.

At this time, there are no plans to allow for editing elevation data.

Regarding visibility, the intended approach is to create a new list and put the data you'd like to see in isolation in that list (while leaving it wherever else you have it). When you done with that particular view, you can delete the list (and your data will be untouched).
