Can't Clear Field for Waypoint

BC v3.3.3
I was editing a waypoint and inadvertently entered the elevation in the depth field. I discovered I couldn't delete the value although I could replace it with another value (such as zero). Even though I try to delete the value, it still wants to appear in the waypoint properties window and in the depth column in data view for that waypoint. Is this a known issue and/or being fixed in an upcoming update such as v4?

That is not a known bug, but I can reproduce it with 3.3. Thank you for reporting, this sure is some obscure behavior.

I'll enter it into our bug database, so we should have this fixed eventually. Most likely this will not make it into 4.0 though, sorry.

BTW... I replaced the WP with a new one and tried the same thing with the elevation field ... does the same thing as I described with the depth field.
