Can't install 3.3.3 or 4.0, no "user.config" file.

I'm installing on XP
First time install of Basecamp.
Now, after installation , I get a message that the setup says the "basecamp settings file has become corrupted" and to delete a "user.config" file in a folder under "C:\Documents and Settings\Steve Carlson\Local Settings\Application Data" and "Garmin_Corp", only problem is there is no "Garmin_Corp" folder or "user.config" file on the hard disk...anywhere.

of course basecamp then does not open.

The Basecamp setup program never creates the file "user.config" , so it can't be corrupt.

When does install or setup suppose to create the "user.config" file?
I have seen others have had this same problem.. isn't there a way ya'll can change the install/setup programs to fix this????

Try enabling to view hidden files and folders: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/win_fcab_show_file_extensions.mspx?mfr=true and see if you can find the files then..

If that doesn't work, or if deleting the user.config file doesn't fix the issue, please contact product support, they will be able to fix this for you.
