Can BaseCamp import (and show) JPGs that are geotagged, but don't have a time stamp?

I thought I'd try to create an "Adventure" to show the Observation Point example in Falagar's presentation of BC 4.0.0.4 beta. Unfortunately, all my JPGs were shot with a film camera, and geotagged from waypoints I logged when I took the photos. The geotags are visible in Geosetter, which I used to assign the data, but I can't find a way to get them into BC. When I "import" the JPGs all I get is waypoints.

Would you mind attaching one of those jpg files?

When I went to attach them, I realized they were pretty big, 50MB or so. When I shrunk the images to 250KB, they imported fine. Is there a maximum size I should be using, and are the images merely referenced, or are they added to the database?

When importing geotagged photos, they are being copied. 50 megs sounds like a lot for a photo.

I am not aware of any hard limit for file size (but there might well be, I'll have to investigate).

Thanks for looking into it. 50MB actually isn't a lot for a 12000x3000 panorama (stitched up in Photoshop).
