Updating BaseCamp database

OK, so I'm getting familiar with using BaseCamp

But, I'm up offroading in Taylor Park, Colorado.

There is a neat trail that leaves the Taylor Park Store, goes up to the top of Taylor Pass and then decends through Aspen Mountain ski area, and you can park at the bottom of the Little Nell ski lift and walk a half block to town and have lunch.

I have did this exact trail in 2011 so I know where we went.

In BaseCamp the exact trail has two missing sections in it. Thus I had to build three routes to be able to make the trip show up on screen so that I wouldn't wander off on some side road.

So I used both Rino 655t devices, on to save each route as a track and one to save the whole trip over as one track.

So how could I get that data to Garmin so that the BaseCamp map can be updated and one route for the trip developed.

BaseCamp doesn't come with any map but a world basemap, so the map you're viewing is probably from another source. If it's from Garmin you can report map errors here. Otherwise you'll need to report it to the source from whom you got the map. Note that maps need to be compiled and re-distributed to reflect the correction, so don't expect any corrections you submit to show up instantly.

    SELDOM,

Using Garmin U.S. 24K Southwest. So I'll try following your link and see what I learn.

    Thanks,

I wouldn't expect much to happen from a 24k topo error report. Those maps aren't updated on any regular schedule. And even if they do take action, you would have to purchase the map again because there is no option to purchase lifetime or one-time updates for topo products .
