Avoiding dirt roads on motorcycle

Is there anyway to force a different color for dirt/gravel roads?

I create custom routes on mostly back roads but I'd like to know which roads are gravel/dirt so I can avoid them. I know if I select "avoid dirt roads"(under options) it will avoid them, but there are times I "force" a route to go down roads because they look interesting; However, I don't want to go down a road if I can see on the map (via a specific color) if they are dirt/gravel roads.

There is no way in BaseCamp's interface to do this.

Depending on the kind of map, there might be a way to achieve what you are trying to do by fiddling with some files, but that's kind of outside my area of expertise.

Looking at CNNANT 2013.1 it appears that unpaved roads are shown dotted. So why can't you just clear the avoidances on your motorcycling profile and create a route on the dotted roads? Or set your profile to Mountain Biking? Of course, my experience is that some roads marked paved really aren't, and vice versa, but you'll have that problem with any map.

Yes - I want this but for the opposite reason - because I want to take the dirt roads - force my route onto them! PLEASE ADD THIS! :-)
