You can add new waypoint somewhere on the map, go to the properties of the new waypoint.
Changes the coordinates in the one you want to find , close properties.
select the new waypoint in the list and show on map.
My problem is that I select to set a new waypoint, then go to that waypoint in the browser and select properties.
But, when I try to enter the degrees and minutes...the program goes ahead and puts in 00.000 and I get invalid errors when I try to enter what I want. Other times I get the degrees in, try to enter the minutes and the program changes the degrees to something else.
Suppose I want to enter N38 52.485, but where I simply put a new waypoint on the map and want to change the coordinates to what I want was is N38 01.125
when I highlight the N38 01.125 start to type N38 52.485 the program automatically changes it to S0 00.000
So I thought, I'll just go ahead an enter what I want where the cursor is. I type in N38 and it suddenly reads S49 03.000
I doesn't seem like I'm able to control what's going on. I finally get what I want, but it takes many steps and much frustration.
What might I be missing in settings, oh, and the only thing I find for settings is under Utilities, Options, Measurment, Position and there it says:
