BaseCamp and DotNet smallest OFFLINE install links pse

OFFLINE LINKS ONLY

Can someone pse help me with this
I need all the smallest dotnet downloads for non- dotnet users
Meaning people that hasn't got any dotnet installed
Do they need to install from dotnet 1.1 to latest?

Don't want to be prompted to dl updates after installations
Must be SMALLEST full versions

For all OS pse

XP
Vista
Windows 7 + 8
Mac

All must be where people has got no internet
Thus OFFLINE ONLY SMALLEST full downloads per link pse

I must dl it all for them

Will be appreciated

Not sure what you're asking for exactly. BaseCamp requires .NET v3.5 or above (v1.1 won't work).

You can get the .NET v4 standalone (offline) installer here.

However the BaseCamp installer already includes .NET I think.

The Mac version doesn't use .net. The only thing you need is BaseCamp itself.

However the BaseCamp installer already includes .NET I think.

The BaseCamp installer is 65.95 MB, .net 4 is 48.1 MB; leaving less than 18 MB for BaseCamp...

Can't Basecamp PLEASE make a second version

INCLUDING ALL DECENCIES OF DOTNET incl
all os included

I don't mind if is 100mb more

Just make both available for dl

This will actually put no strain on Basecamp fans

Can somebody pse just verify for sure that I don't need to dl any DotNet, that it is included in the Basecamp dl

I think when I tried to install the BC 3.2.2 version it prompted to dl the DotNet 3.5 sp1, which I didn't had installed

Don't know the newest though.

I think I had this installed when tried to install BC 3.2.2
Still it asked for DotNet 3.5 sp1 to be dl

I normally keep my DotNets up to date
But it really prompted for DotNet 3.5 sp1 to be dl

I think DotNet is version dependent
Hope this is right
If you compile for DotNet 3.5 sp1
Doesn't is specific looks for v 3.5 sp1

DotNets installs into separate dirs

.NET 3.5 SP1 (easily found with Google)

BaseCamp DotNet EXE incl Dpendencies PSE

Yes people
I took the liberty and clean install my Windows
Took BC 3.3.3 and intsall it witout any .Net

It prompted for .Net to be downloaded

This is my plea to the BaseCamp Team

PLEASE CREATE AN EXE WITH ALL .NET DEPENDENCY FILE INCLUDED

Don't mind if it is 100mb more
Then i know I can go to any machine to use it

I visit a lot off OFFLINE areas
I want to go prepared

The installer team make the BaseCamp installer (not us).

The simplest solution is to install .NET 3.5 SP1 before installing BC.
