Where are my downloaded files stored?

i just downloaded a few Birdseye files to my computer and want to delete them since i downloaded them to my gps. when i delete them from my new list tab, i dont think they are deleted from my computer because my "free space" has not changed. with limited free space, i need to get rid of these files. does anyone know where i can find these files to delete them?

You can find them in the folder C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\GARMIN\BaseCamp\JnxFiles

To delete BirdsEye files within BaseCamp, be sure to select the "Delete" option (not "Remove from list X"). The actual file will be deleted when you close BaseCamp.

As a continuation of this...

'i have quite a lot of birdseye images taking up space on my computer. Can I copy them elsewhere, delete them from C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\GARMIN\BaseCam p\JnxFiles , and then copy them back when I need them? If I run basecamp while they are "gone" how will it handle that? also, if I were able to figure out which map belonged to which map name could I rename the jnx files to something useful?

Currently there's no good way to do that.

Ideally, BC would allow you to specify a directory for the .gdb, .jnx files...etc.
