Can Basecamp PLEASE make this an option in new versions
The user need to choose where he/she wants to put the maps
BC can still puts the gobal map on normal dir
I normally like to make use of an encrypted usb hdd
and/or
Encrypted containers
Which in both cases are still writable
This way your investment in maps can be protected
If you are on the move, you can just change tjhe location of the maps to your choosing
It will be highly appreciated
