Offset route draw

Ever since I bought and updated a new Garmin GPS (Nuvi 2450), any route I have in BaseCamp seems to be drawn offset from the actual road in the map. Routes are drawn OK in the GPS unit when transfered. I'm using 2012.4 version of the map.
Anybody knows why this may be happening?

I'm noticing the same behavior on a routable trail map I compiled with cgpsmapper. The magenta line is offset 9 feet south of the trail line (80 ft zoom) when the route is created in BaseCamp. The magenta line directly overlays the trail line when the route is created in MapSource, so I suspect it's a BaseCamp thing, not a map thing.
