Any ideas on this one?
I am a new user and have spent some time working my way up the learning curve on editing routes.
I have a complete route in Portugal of about 325 miles with many vias or waypoints.
In more than one instance a route goes through the empty countryside into a village and out the other side. No problem. Zooming in into the route I see that it suddenly veers off the "main road" for sometimes only a few hundred feet before rejoining.
There are no waypoints in this part of the route.
It's like the routing is literally going as the crow flies and then almost when realising the error the routing reverts back to the main route.
Now if I add many, many points via the rubberband I can eventually get it to run straight through these one horse villages!
Any ideas why the "logic" is illogical?
