Hi all
Is it possible to hide waypoints selectively on an Oregon 450 does anyone know?
I have prepared tracks in Basecamp for eg 2 walks in the same area. The walks share some of the same space on the ground (eg they start or finish in the same place).
In Basecamp I have given each walk unique WayPoint numbers.
On the device, when I look at the 2nd track I have downloaded, its unique numbers are not visible where the shared ground is walked, because the first track’s WayPoints seem to take precedence. This makes the 2nd track unusable according to the protocol for use in the field that I had envisaged.
I know there is an option to hide the track on the device but can’t see one for associated waypoints.
Is there any way around this other than adopting a different numbering protocol? which would be incredibly difficult when planning walks.
Hoping someone can help before i go insane with trying to understand how to get the best out of Basecamp
