Elevation profile with waypoints labeled

Hi Garmin BaseCamp friends,

When I hike, I make a tracklog and I mark up various waypoints. I can combine the tracklog and waypoints via pasting. I can then get the elevation profile by clicking on the tracklog data. But I can't figure out how to get the waypoint labels to show up overlaid on the elevation profile. It would be really handy for me since that way I can identify the various peaks and interesting waypoints. Is there a way for me to do this? I would appreciate any advice/suggestions.

Thanks!

I don't believe there is a way to do that currently.

If you use the Zoom option, we should display the track/route points with little dots on the graph, but there is currently no label.

I added a case, so we might add this in a future feature release.

I got bored and ended up writing a little waypoint and track parser in python, it generates a gnuplot script in order to plot the data and label the waypoints in the elevation profile. I also show elapsed time. I'm hoping the BaseCamp feature to do this will be coming soon too. :-)
