Old data vanished after uptading to 3.3.1

I just installed Basecamp 3.3.1 over the previous version and all my data vanished. Yes I did try the feature "Restore from previous version" to no avail. The software restarts but data is still empty. Any ideas? I have a bunch of stuff, or at least I used to have.

Update: I found a data file in C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXX\Application Data\Garmin\BaseCamp\Database\3.0 but importing it with the import function in Basecamp returns an error: unsuported version

Update 2: SOLVED - moving all the files in the folder mentioned above to C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXX\Application Data\Garmin\BaseCamp\Database\3.1 and then use the function Restore from previous version

Might be because you were using exactly the previous version and therefore the data was exactly in the that folder?

That is indeed strange.

I will run a few tests and check why we wouldn't import the 3.0 data.
