I imported a valid gpx with a track, converted it to a route and send it to my dezl, but it won't show me the route.

What can i do?

Does the dezl actually support the downloading of Route's from BaseCamp or MapSource? If it does, how many Via Points are in the Route you sent to the dezl?

Garmin's spec on the DEZL560 says 15 routes. That's usually a pretty good indication that you can load routes into it.

Yeah, not having one I just looked over the Manual and it says....

    File Types:
The device supports these file types.
    • JPEG and JPG image files
    (page 47).
    • Maps and GPX waypoint files
    from MapSource® (page 75).
    • GPI custom POI files from
    Garmin POI Loader (page 75).

I managed to transfer a route from BC to dezl which was completely designed in BC and not imported from somewhere else. However, the imported gpx file which had lots of viapoints and the track just won't be transferred to the device. Same issue with nuvi465T.

Also what's making me a little confused is when I click on "Routes" on display it shows me the single route it already knows and the sand glass is turning for hours
EDIT: To answer DRTBYKs question, my test route got 35 viapoints.

According to the dezl manual, it uses the "trip planner" which has been much maligned on the Nuvi series. Initially the trip planner was not compatible with route transfer from the computer, then later Garmin added limited compatibility to some models as well as the 2012 advanced and prestige Nuvi's.

My *guess* is that your dezl just isn't compatible with route transfer. But make sure your firmware is up to date, in case it's a feature that Garmin added later. None of the Nuvi series are capable of importing a track, they can only display the track that was created on the device itself. Again, my *guess* would be that the dezl is the same.

Note the careful wording that only mentions waypoints and not routes. This is the same language that has been used on Nuvi models with the Trip Planner that aren't compatible with route transfer.

Thanks for your advices, dezl is up to date :) and I know that route transfer from BC is possible, as I wrote before

However, the imported one can be displayed in BC but I can't transfer it to the dezl. Works with nuvi 2595LMT, though :D
