I have 2 questions / comments: 1) When importing a route from Mapsource why are the waypoints (Intersection type) come in as waypoints and not shapping or way points (Intersection). 2) Is there any way in base camp to change the waypoint name or type (intersection like mapsource). These maybe recommend improvement to basecamp

    BaseCamp 3.3 (currently available as Beta) will try the best it can to determine if via points from an imported route from MapSource are shaping points.

    If you set the via points on intersections in MapSource, BaseCamp should recognize these as shaping points.

    Renaming route-only points is something we might add in the future.
