I am leading a walk for a local group. I walked variations three times. I wish to take parts of all three .gpx files to make one that will be the definitive walk. What is the proper procedure to achieve this single .gpx file? Is BaseCamp or MapSource better for the process?
But you could take one track, delete the points from it you don't want, then go to a second track, select the points from that one that you want to use, hit Ctrl-C, go back to the first track, hit Ctrl-V and piece it together like that.
Yes, there are all sorts of "work arounds" that make the workflow very tedious for a task that could be quite simple - reference MapSource.
I just don't see why both Dev Team's are so adamantly avoiding the MapSource Track/Route edit Tools and Methods. Having said that I certainly don't want to go back to MapSource for most other functions as a reference.
