In this Beta the route duration seems to be about double than when the route is imported into the Garmin unit. I have a 1490 but don't know if that makes a difference. Even after changing the average speeds didn't seem to make a difference.
Automobile; and transfered to a Nuvi 1490 also set for automobile profile.
Just transfered a route and Basecamp shows time 2:20 hrs.-68.2 miles.
Nuvi 1490 shows 1:56 hrs.-69 miles.
Full shaping point support in the units will come at a later point.
It is possible that the unit calculates a different route because of some unit-only preferences (it might assume different speeds, take traffic into account, or your driving history).
But it might also be a bug. So would you mind attaching a gpx file of the route created by BaseCamp? And let me know which map you used. Then we can investigate.
Not sure what happened but everything seems back to normal now (route times). Route lenght extremely close and times are off by about 12 minutes on a 130 mile route but that is normal. It has always been off by some minutes.
