I don't know if this has been asked before, but is it possible to synchronize the map display with the data filter? Especially when using geotagged photos the photos obscure tracks and other waypoints. It would be nice if the photos can disappear or show up by clicking the corresponding data filter icon.
We have a case to evaluate if it we should hide data that is filtered.
Currently this is not possible. You'd have to put the photos in a separate list to make them disappear from the map depending on if that list is selected or not.
We have a separate case for making the geotagged photo display on the map less intrusive and confusing.
So to make sure I understand correctly, you wish to show/hide the photos on the map in BaseCamp? Have you tried putting the photos into their own list? It will be a "copy" as in a reference to the actual photo, but if those are in their own lists, and you have not selected "My Collection" they will not be visible.
