Routing Problems

Is there any way to avoid anomalies like this one in routing? I don't seem to be able to route the shortest distance. Not with basecamp an neither with my Garmin Oregon. I suspect my maps being bad or having disrupted roads or something.

There is no "disrupted" data path in the CNEU map but there may be something in the "road-type" data that considers this a tertiary level road or other map data anomaly. If you edit your route by placing a waypoint or click-and-drag the route to the intersection of NieuweStraat + Spieveldstraat, you should get the route you expected.

Do you get the same error when routing method is set to pedestrian (wrong vehicle type), or the travel direction is reversed (one way street)?

DRTBYK, how did you know what map the OP was referring to?

Photographic memory - Just looked at the example he posted and knew where it was. His "Location" was a give away too.
