Bird's Eye images on Garmin Montana

Hello,

I have Montana 650. I downloaded and installed some Bird's Eye images in highest resolution.

These images look fine in the BaseCamp, but they are absolutely useless in the device. They look completely washed out.

I'm new to Montana and Bird's Eye, so perhaps I just don't know how to configure my device to make them usable.

I would appreciate your advice.

BIrdseye looks very nice on my Montana 600. If you go to Map Setup and look at the menu to enable/disable Birdseye you will see there are several options for display style (normal, bright, brighter IIRC). Try these to see if it helps.

I've played with the zoom, zoomed in and out - and it seems to be OK now. I've tried all other settings as well.

I tried to download the Birdseye map set from the web site, and Garmin wouldn't let me. The system auto-stops and tells me I don't have a compatible device. I don't think these maps work yet with the 650t.

Oregon 650t or Montana 650t? Either way, I think they should be compatible. Your GPS must be connected to your computer in order to download however.

I have the Montana 650t. Birdseye works fine on that GPS. Quality varies depending on the area covered.
