I have installed the latest Windows 7 USB drivers from Garmin for my Dakota 20. When I plug in the device, I hear the confirmation sound that indicates connectivity, then shortly thereafter I hear the disconnect sound, and the Dakota is no longer seen by the computer. I have to disconnect the Dakota, reinstall the drivers, and then it will work... until the next time when I have to repeat the same process. This all happens without Basecamp even running. ?????
