Cant load tracks from basecamp to oregon450t

Hi.
I was hopping somone could help.I have basecamp on my pc.
I create a track
Then I upload it to my 450t.
When I turn the 450t on and go to find the track it does not show it on the map.
I have a 1:500000 discover map uk installed.
Please can some help.

When you upload a track from BaseCamp to your Oregon, BaseCamp will create a gpx file for that track on your Oregon's gpx folder.

Try to locate that gpx file and attach it here (or send it to me via PM) and I will try to find out what might be wrong with it.

If your device doesn't have the most recent firmware, please update your firmware first, and then try sending the track again. You can check your device's firmware directly from within BaseCamp (right-click on your Oregon's 'All Data' folder and then 'Check for Device Software Update').

Further to this the track will not automatically show up on the unit. You have to go into the Track Manager and select it to make it show up.

That sounds like a different issue, one that would have to be addressed on the device.

Hi chaps.
Thanks for all your advice.
I figured it out .I did not have my topo selected in the basecamp menu,and I had to select new track and up load it from base maps to E drive which is my garmin,I was up loading it to garmin its self,and I still dont get why it did not upload it,but it woks fine.
