Is there a way I can upload a destination from my 275T as a file and send it to friend to download into his GPS? This not an address. It is just a location that I saved. Thanks.
You have made a "waypoint" and saved it in your "Favorites. You can use Basecamp to copy the waypoint from your device into Basecamp by connecting your device to your PC. In Basecamp you can view the waypoint properties which will show the lat/lon coordinates for the location. You can cut/paste them into an email message.
Or you can export the waypoint to a GPX file and email the GPX file.
There may be better ways to do it using Basecamp. You can ask in the Basecamp forum on here. It's under the Windows Software section.
