I have a Oregon 450 With all of my software updated to Software Version 5.00.I have Basecamp Version 3.2.2.Everytime I start Basecamp I get a message that I should update my Oregon Software fromVersion 4.20 to 5.00.According to my Oregon 450 it says I have Version 5.00.I just can`t get Basecamp to reconize it.Sometimes,(not all the time), when I`m downloading a map from Birdseye I`ll get a message saying that it could not load a map because I did not have the latest Software.I`ll just come back later and then I`ll be able to download it from Basecamp.I am loading all of the Birdseye maps to a 16 GB microSD.I am able to work around it,But it is a big pain in the back side.Like all of my updates,I get them straight from Garmin.Any ideas on how to get Basecamp to reconize the version 5.00 I have on my Oregon 450 and end these messages.
OK you got me on the right track.My Oregon 450 is updated according to the Garmin Device xml folder.But the MicroSD card Garmin Device xml folder was not . Deleted old and copied in new folder.Started Basecamp-Message no longer appears.Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
